Independent for Community Action and People Power
in the House of Assembly, for the district of Enfield
Why am I a candidate again? Because people are asking me to resolve many crucial issues not being addressed by our current politician, these matters have been overlooked for many years. Why should people lobby Members of Parliament when these politicians display a continuous loyalty to their party and not the people? Our concerns, adversities and questions are not being taken seriously and resolved.
People want changes carried out in order to have a safe and pleasant community-based area. I am a local, I have lived in my area all my life, went to the local schools, keep abreast of local concerns, and do something about them.
When elected, I would organise public meetings once per month and let people set the agenda. Each suburb would have representatives for attendance of meetings and determine resolutions for all individuals concerned.
I have been a “lone voice” for many years. My concerns, and those of my neighbours, have fallen on deaf ears. I will provide funds to set up committees of people in all suburbs, discussing all aspects of politics, policies, form action and lobbying groups, and demand fair justice, truthfulness and accountability.
