Redevelopment of the Cheltenham Park Racecourse site

With environmental concerns and a “green premier,” I believe the whole area could be redeveloped into a super education research and conference facility, bringing together all sorts of people.  With sustainable green lands, wetlands, development of wind and solar systems, an educational facility which could bring inventors from all over the state, interstate, and the world.

For example, Hamilton School has “MAPS” for media students.  Hindmarsh has the “School of the future.”  Urrbrae has wetlands and an agricultural school.  Roseworthy has a farming school.  So I believe Cheltenham can have a green sustainable education research facility, a world class permaculture institute.

I know a lot of inventors, from kids to pensioners, and it would be great to be able to bring all of them together and develop projects.  Industries could, also, develop.

You can have a lot of world class visitors coming to this site, an Australian first.  Forget college, uni or TAFE, they're too expensive.  This site at Cheltenham could be a site for all green thinking people to develop ideas and businesses, a place to share ideas, debate issues and experiment.  To be able to measure different wind, solar, and methane systems, on the same site.  It could develop into a long term, fantastic world wide education facility, that could generate millions of dollars in developing new innovative systems for human kind.  An open parklands, wetlands, and urban forests for research and development, incorporating new and innovative ideas for a sustainable economic and green future.
